At CID Bio-Science, we’re thrilled to kick off the summer season by adding four extraordinary individuals to our team. Each with their unique talents, experiences, and ambitions, we are happy to have them join our crew for a summer of learning, growth, and meaningful contributions.
First, let’s welcome Justine, a Computer Science and Electrical Engineering student from UCLA. She’s tackling the CI-710S SpectraVue firmware and the communications drivers for a new sensor. Away from her busy tech life, Justine enjoys the mellifluous notes of the English horn and has an upcoming trip to Cannon Beach. During her stint with us, we are eager to see her orchestrate harmony between software and hardware.
Next, meet Montana, our summer assistant lab tech, who’ll be helping build models for the F-750, and ensure our produce meter’s quality. Montana hails from Whitman College, where she delves into the fascinating worlds of biology and geology. Away from the lab, she enjoys venturing into the great outdoors and plans to explore the north cascades at the end of this summer.
We look forward to fostering her passion for nature and seeing how it blossoms in her work.
We’re also excited to have Justin on board, an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate from Western Washington University. He’ll work on the F-900 performance improvement and Interscan Sensor Adaptor projects. When not occupied with wires and circuit boards, Justin has a penchant for knitting and hopes to explore local dirt bike trails this summer. We’re all set to witness the trailblazing work he’ll be doing at CID Bio-Science!
Finally, we introduce Thomas, our new analytics expert. Currently honing his data science skills at Willamette University, Thomas has an innate ability to transform raw data into insightful dashboards. When he isn’t crunching numbers, you can find Thomas diving into a good book or spiking a volleyball. He’s eager to develop his professional skills further and positively impact CID Bio-Science – and we can’t wait to see the transformative results!
Fortunately, we have a diverse, talented, and passionate team of interns at CID Bio-Science this summer. Our interns bring fresh perspectives and vibrant energy to our projects, and we can’t wait to see how they innovate, adapt, and grow with us in the coming months.
So, here’s to a summer of discovery, inspiration, and hands-on experience! Welcome aboard, Thomas, Montana, Justin, and Justine. We’re thrilled to have you with us and can’t wait to witness the fantastic contributions we know you’ll make to CID Bio-Science.
