UC Davis Postharvest Technology of Horticultural Crops Short Course
Last month Application Scientist, Andrea Melnychenko, had the pleasure of attending the UC Davis Postharvest Technology of Horticultural Crops Short Course.

The week-long course covered a range of topics including safety factors, harvesting systems, cooling, ethylene, transport, and more. Classes were hands-on and intensive, geared toward research and extension workers, produce quality control personnel, and commercial, government, or academic professionals interested in current advances in the postharvest technology of horticultural crops (source).

Felix Instruments understands that in order to design tools that meet the needs the Fresh Market Industry we must continually pursue the highest level of education on current produce quality practices, and ally ourselves with important thought-leaders in the postharvest field. We are excited to continue to develop our knowledge of this industry at UC Davis and beyond.
