CID Bio-Science is highly regarded in the academic world as a manufacturer of portable, precise instruments helping environmental, climate, and biology-focused researchers gather data in their areas of study.

Moscow-headquartered SpezLabProekt was established in 2014 to provide a full range of professional services related to the supply and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

It will become a critical component of CID Bio-Science’s distribution network focusing on the Russian market, as well as Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The retention of SpezlabProekt increases CID Bio-Science’s global reach, with representation in more than 50 countries.

“CID Bio-Science has been searching for the right distribution partner in Russia for some time,” commented Suzy Truitt, CID’s Distributor Manager. “We are very excited to be working with SpezlabProekt, a long-standing, respected distributor in Russia and surrounding countries. The addition of the CID product line to SpezLabProekt allows them to offer a full spectrum of field-ready research equipment to meet the needs of their existing customer base.”

Headquartered in Camas, Washington, and in business for nearly 30 years, CID leads the industry in instrument innovation, supplying both universities and governments worldwide with highly reliable, battle-ready tools that deliver precise data in a portable, user-friendly package.

The company has 13 devices for measuring various plant characteristics, including photosynthetic activity, leaf area, vegetation and canopy cover and root analysis.
