Last Thursday, we hosted our monthly webinar and this time we focused on Leaf Area Meters! Application Scientist, Galen George, took a look at several studies that have used Leaf Area Meters in a variety of ways. We know the traditional method of finding Leaf Area Index (LAI) is time consuming and requires several items such as graph paper, rulers, pencils, etc. We have developed two different options of Leaf Area Meters that are highly portable and allow you to leave the graph paper behind while finding the LAI, non-destructively, in seconds!
