At Felix Instruments we have designed instruments to help you grow, maintain and sell the best quality produce achievable. From measuring dry matter and internal color, to managing ethylene and degreening citrus fruits, our tools play a vital role in giving you the data you need to cultivate and sustain excellent produce all along the supply chain.

Cherry Season at Orchard View Farms
During the past month and a half we’ve had the opportunity to work with Orchard View Farms in The Dalles, Oregon, to validate our F-750 Produce Quality Meter for use with cherries. Over the course of two separate trips, staff from Felix Instruments harvested, labeled, and scanned Chelan, Rainier, Lapin, and Bing cherry varieties. Models were created for Total Soluble Solids (Brix), and we are looking forward to releasing an Application Note and Infographic on our work with cherries in the coming weeks.
