Software updated 14 June 2004.

Verify that you have NI-DAQ 6.9.1 or later. Versions before 6.9 will not work with this software.

To download the latest version (1.305b) CI-310 software, click on the links below (you may have to right click to save the file). Save the files to an empty directory on your hard drive.

Before installing this software, you must remove the National Instruments Labview Runtime Engine if it is not version 6.1. Go to Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs.

This installation will probably overwrite your C:\Program Files\CI-310\CI-310.ini calibration file, so back up the file first! After the installation, copy the backed up file to the original to make your calibrations valid again.

After removing the runtime engine and backing up your calibration file, run Setup where you downloaded the files to install the new program.

You must run Measurement & Automation and set the appropriate configuration file by going to Tools, NI-DAQ configuration, set active configuration (the file will be in C:/Windows or C:/WinNT). If you have a DAQCard-700, use the CI-310-700.daq. If you have a DAQCard6024e, use the CI-310-6024.daq. There may be other *.daq files in your Windows directory, do not select them.
